Are You Ready Jays Fans?

Bo, Vladdy, Springer, Biggio, Ryu, Manoah, Pearson, Martin, Simeon Woods Richardson. Shall I go on? Buckle up and hold on to your fucking hats Blue Jays fans, we’re in for a ride.

I firmly believe we are about to enter the golden era of the Toronto Blue Jays. This is the time we will win championships, we’ll be non-stop competing for the title, and we’ll be a powerhouse year after year after year.

Am I confident? Absolutely, and you should be too. The 2021 team will compete and they’re going to be damn good, but I think we can all agree we won’t be disappointed if this team doesn’t win the World Series. We all know this team is still a step away from competing for a championship. Our expectations and hopes are much more long term than that. We envision the future of this team, and we all picture a dominant ball club that will have success for years.

This team isn’t a one year wonder with a small window for victory, and we all know that. Unlike past Jays teams, this group is built to compete, and not only compete, but dominate for years.

We all knew the Bautista and Donaldson led Jays weren’t built to last. Sure it was insanely fun, and it would’ve been even better if we won the World Series, but deep down we knew that team was only built to last for a year or two, it just wasn’t sustainable.

This time it’s different. The Jays are younger, and most of the core pieces will all be entering their prime together, which in my mind is a recipe for multiple championships. The core is young and inexpensive, which leaves room for big free agents (aka George Springer). The core guys all project as potential perennial All-Stars.

Are you excited yet Blue Jays fans? Because you should be. This may be a once in a life time era of success and I’m not exaggerating. Get used to All-Stars, winning seasons, MVPs, Cy Young awards, playoff wins, and most importantly, World Series Wins.

I’m confident we’ll experience all of these in the next decade, and you should be confident too. This is special time for the Toronto Blue Jays, so buckle up, hold on to your hats, and get ready to buy championship gear and memorabilia over the next decade, because we’re entering the golden era of the Toronto Blue Jays.
